Revolutions happen when multiple factors coalesce over decades, and a final spark arrives. Discuss.

Revolutions are a product of simmering anger that builds up over decades. The final spark does the job. Do you agree? Why or why not? Explain with examples and facts.

When we analyse the various revolutions, revolts and rebellions of recent history, we find that there were many precipitating factors that led to the final outburst. Some continued for centuries, in fact. The same thread is seen in the 1857 rebellion in India, the French Revolution in 1789 or the Russian Revolution in 1917. What are the dynamics? How does it play out?
