India is a Union of States. To run it well, 'cooperative federalism' is the only viable strategy. Do you agree? Why? Discuss.

28 states and 8 Union Territories make up India (in addition to some autonomous district councils). They all have a different cultural background and identity. Over time, they know their rights, and have a dream for the future. To run a vast nation like this, the union needs to learn some basic lessons well, instead of pushing everyone around. Cooperative Federalism is part of the constitutional scheme precisely for this. Debate at length.
