A lot of ground has been covered over the past hundred years, when it comes to the emacipation and freedom of women in India. Women have earned rights for themselves, via a long struggle punctuated by failures and disappointment. But today, in 2022, we can clearly see that some major impediments still need to be tackled. From labour force participation to political empowerment, challenges abound. Discuss at length.
